Can I put a tent on the Lawn?

Yes, there is space in the barn for 160 guests seated comfortably at tables with space for a dance floor. The capacity of the barn is 190 people. There is additional covered space on the boardwalk between the barn and the bathrooms—typically this space is used for the drink station/bar and the buffet. If you still need more covered space, there is ample space on the lawn for large tents in front of and beside the barn.

Is there an extra charge for wedding ceremonies?

No, our gift to you.

Do you have parking available?

Event parking is available and required for you and your guests while on the property.

Is the barn open for events year-round?

Our barn is insulated and has heat and air conditioning and brand new roll-top glass doors for you to enjoy the view year-round.

Are there restrooms on site?

Yes, we have heated and air-conditioned restrooms.

What are the rules for decorating?

Every effort is made for you to decorate your event as suited to your vision. Because the barn is an antique family heirloom, we do not allow nails, staples, or glue. Lights and other approved décor can be hung using zip ties. We do not allow glitter, confetti, rice, or fake flower petals anywhere on the property. Candles can be used with a glass cover and must be at least 10 feet from barn, trellises, and deck. Electric or battery-powered candles can be used anywhere on the property. We ask that you give us a full decoration plan prior to the event. For an additional fee, you may also add a sparkler send-off or bonfire.

Can we/our guests BYOB?

No. As a licensed facility, Kentucky state law prohibits you from bringing your own alcohol—just like you can’t bring your own drinks to a restaurant. We do however provide you with bartending staff and a wide variety of bar options, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks, at a cash or open bar for your event. Violations of Kentucky state law on our property, including underage drinking and BYOB, will result in forfeiture of deposit and is grounds for early dismissal of your event.


I want to take photos/consult with my wedding designer before the wedding. Is there an additional charge?

No, there is not an additional charge. We love having people come to our winery! We do require that you schedule your visit in advance, ideally during normal hours of operation, so that you may also come as a customer of the winery. We have wine, beer, food, and a gift shop!


Do you have chairs and tables?

Some furniture is included in the price. Additional tables and chairs can be rented from us, and we also have a list of preferred vendors who rent these items as well.

Do you provide wedding planning/event management services?

Do you provide décor, flowers, design, DJ, photography, etc.?

Farmer & Frenchman does not provide these services, but we have several professional vendor recommendations for each of these categories. We also highly recommend you use Songbird DJ (270-826-0722 |

Do you provide catering?

F&F Catering/Bar Options: Please contact us for your personalized catering and bar estimate. Catering options include: appetizers, wine pairings, buffet, family style, and plated meals. Bar packages are flexible based on your specific budget and event vision.
