“Once upon a time, words began to vanish from the language of children. They disappeared so quietly at first almost no one noticed – fading like water on stone. The words were those that children used to name the world around them: acorn, adder, bluebell, bramble, conker – gone! Fern, heather, kingfisher, otter, raven, willow, wren… all of them gone! The words we becoming lost: no longer vivid in children’s voices, no longer alive in their stories.”

We started our dream in 2012, planning to just fix up the barn enough for us to get married in, and plant some vines and make some wine sometime down the road. Today we are living a dream bigger than we ever imagined.

Weddings 2017/2018

Our ancestors built the barn, and farmed the land where our grapes grow today. It’s all about family, and saying your vows on land that has been loved and cared for by family for generations is something special.
